Bradford, PA – October 26, 2017 – KOA Speer Electronics introduces its
new WK73R1J Thick Film Wide Terminal Resistors featuring a 0.5 watt
power rating in a 0306 package. The WK73R1J is a thick film chip
resistor that is able to achieve a high power rating of 0.5 watts due to
its reverse geometry design, which provides for greater heat
dissipation. In addition, this resistor offers superior thermal shock
characteristics and solder joint resistance, and excellent overall heat
resistance with an operating temperature of -55°C to +155°C. The higher
power rating of the 0306 size WK73R1J accommodates an engineer’s desire
for downsizing to allow for more available board space.
